CEnet welcomes The Diocese of Ballarat
CEnet, Catholic Education’s not-for-profit Information, Communication and Learning Technology (ICLT) services organisation, is delighted to announce that The Diocese of Ballarat has joined the membership. This significant milestone expands CEnet's extensive network to 18 Catholic dioceses, bringing its beneficial ICLT services to Catholic communities in Victoria for the first time.
CEnet is a not-for-profit organisation dedicated to enhancing educational value through efficient and cost-effective ICLT services. CEnet operates with a shared purpose to “achieve common good for our connected Catholic communities”, uniting in the belief that quality education is the right of all and that robust technology services are its foundational bedrock. This collaborative approach is central to the provision of support for over 370,000 Kindergarten to Year 12 students, teachers, and administrative staff across Catholic diocese networks in New South Wales, Queensland, Tasmania, the Australian Capital Territory, the Northern Territory, and now Victoria.
The Diocese of Ballarat Catholic Education Limited (DOBCEL) is a vibrant network of 5 Catholic secondary colleges and 52 Catholic primary schools that educates over 13,000 students and employs over 2,000 staff. This "community of communities from the Murray to the sea", is committed to service and fostering growth, making this a synergistic partnership that will enhance educational value through robust ICLT services.
