CEnet's Baseline Services and AI+ Services offer distinct levels of AI integration to meet various needs in Catholic education.

Baseline Services:

Baseline Services are foundational AI tools already supported by CEnet's existing services catalog. They include essential features such as AI governance frameworks, online collaboration platforms (like the Community of Practice), and AI learning resources. These services aim to simplify AI adoption, providing schools with a set of resources to understand and begin integrating AI within existing operations without significant additional costs or infrastructure and can be used by all organisations looking to deploy AI in a Catholic educational environment regardless of the generative AI system deployed by the member.

AI+ Services:

To extend the baseline services the CEnet AI+ Services go beyond the standard offerings by introducing advanced tools that may require additional funding or third-party partnerships. For example, the cechat platform offers an AI-driven, customizable chatbot to assist both in learning and administrative tasks, designed to provide a more immersive and interactive AI experience tailored to the unique needs of Catholic education.

By choosing between these two tiers, schools can either start small with baseline tools or fully embrace advanced AI capabilities with the AI+ services .
