CEnet is excited to hold its Concepts 2025 conference, a two-day event designed to bring together our Student Information System (SIS) and Financial Management System (FMS) members from our Catholic education dioceses.  Join us as we explore new ideas, foster collaboration and engage in meaningful discussions.

Join us for CEnet Concepts 2025: Connecting Minds | Collaboration in Action!

This two-day event is specifically designed for School Information System (SIS) and Financial Management System (FMS) members from Catholic education dioceses across Australia. It provides a prime opportunity for Diocese Compass and TechOne SMEs and the Finance Working Group to come together.

Concepts 2025 aims to:

  • Explore new ideas

  • Foster collaboration among members

  • Engage in meaningful discussions

  • Share ideas, innovations, and best practices in a collaborative environment

  • Provide a platform for networking and troubleshooting

Attendees are strongly encouraged to present and showcase their ideas through 20-30 minute presentations or 5-minute speed presentations. The agenda includes key sessions on Compass and TechnologyOne roadmaps, as well as dedicated breakout sessions for SIS and FMS topics. You can expect discussions on areas such as AP Automation, attendance processes, Canvas integration, Yellowfin, Artificial Intelligence (AI), and cechat. There will also be a "Future Vision Wall / Collab session" to discuss future directions for CeSIS and CEFMS.

We are excited to confirm several vendors attending and presenting, including Compass, TechOne, Xcellerate IT - Tungsten AP Automation, EftSure, Toddle, and Atlantis.

Agenda Highlights

The two-day agenda is packed with diverse sessions:

CEnet Updates: Attendees will receive updates from Phil Egan and a formal introduction to the new CEnet CEO, Paul Giusti. There will also be updates from the Business Systems Team and a session on CEnet Customer Success.

Roadmaps: Dedicated sessions will cover the Compass Roadmap and TechnologyOne Roadmap, providing insights into future developments.

Breakout Sessions: Multiple breakout sessions are planned, allowing for focused discussions within SIS and FMS streams. Topics include:

  • The latest Compass + TechnologyOne updates.

  • Presentations from Eftsure, Toddle and Atlantis (Timetabling).

  • FMS Stream will delve into Tungsten AP Automation with a live demo + Q&A from Xcellerate IT.

  • SIS Stream will explore experiences with Griddle in primary schools and attendance spreadsheets.

  • Yellowfin presentation and sessions on Artificial Intelligence (AI) and cechat.

  • Various diocese presentations sharing best practice and innovations.

Collaborative Sessions: A significant focus is placed on collective thinking, with sessions like "Future Vision Wall / Collab session for CeSIS + CEFMS" and "Thinkstations" on Day 2, including discussions on how CEnet can further support member operations.

Networking Night: Offering an invaluable opportunity for networking and further collaboration, dinner is included on Day 1.
