Zscaler for Users - Free training for CEnet members
Zscaler, the Safer Internet as a Service provider for CEnet, recently offered complimentary 'Zscaler for Users' training sessions in Sydney and Canberra for all CEnet members.
The training, valued at over USD$1200 per person, included a self-paced e-learning module 'Zscaler for Users - Essentials' followed by in-person 'Zscaler for Users - Advanced' sessions.
Serving as a solid introduction for those new to Zscaler, and a welcome refresher for long-term Zscaler admins, the course laid the foundations for the Zero Trust Exchange (ZTE) security framework, and offered an excellent opportunity for members to boost their knowledge and expertise.
The instructor-led lab sessions concentrated on technical aspects such as:
configuring virtual systems to route traffic to Zscaler (ZIA) using the Zscaler Client Connector with enabled SAML authentication (Azure Entra ID)
granting access to internal applications with ZPA
monitoring application and network performance with ZDX
After completing both the self-paced and lab training, participants now have the chance to advance to the proctored 'Zscaler Digital Transformation Administrator - ZDTA' exam to gain real-world certification.
