Michelle Davey joins the team
We are delighted to announce the appointment of Michelle Davey as the new Head of Education Systems and Technology at CEnet, effective 1 December 2025.
Michelle is a purpose-driven leader who brings a unique and valuable blend of expertise from both the Education sector and ICT leadership. Her background includes over 15 years in Catholic Education, where she has progressed from classroom teacher to Diocesan leadership roles.
Most recently, Michelle served as the Head of Education Solutions at the University of NSW and previously as the Chief Data Officer at Catholic Education, Diocese of Wollongong.
Michelle brings extensive experience in driving educational transformation, including:
• Leading large-scale ICT initiatives: Spearheading the ONCE transformation at CEDoW, which implemented Compass, TechnologyOne, and Yellowfin across all schools and the central office.
• Strategic Governance: Implementing frameworks for educational technology and managing cyber risk for large application portfolios.
• People-Centred Leadership: A leadership style focused on putting people at the centre and fostering trust-based team cultures.
Her deep, holistic insight into K-12 education, combined with her technical and strategic skills, will be invaluable in driving CEnet’s strategic vision moving forward.
