As a member-owned, not-for-profit shared-services cooperative, CEnet provides digital infrastructure, technology and support to more than 370,000 K–12 students, teachers and staff across Australian Catholic school communities. The CEnet CeSIS (Enterprise Student Information System) provides a centralised administration solution for teachers, staff, parents and carers, covering attendance, learning assessments, wellbeing, schedules and communications via web and mobile apps. Working alongside it, CeFMS (Enterprise Finance Management System) serves as the central financial tool, using a standardised account structure to streamline school fees, treasury, accounts payable, assets and capital projects. Together, these companion systems won Gold for delivering unified operational and financial management across Catholic school communities
Gold - Security Software
Awarded Gold in Security Software, cesignal is an early-warning Attack Surface Monitoring service purpose-built for Catholic education. It provides 24-hour national threat monitoring across catholic.edu.au domains and IP space, centralising visibility over external vulnerabilities, leaked credentials and cyber risks. By filtering out false positives and centralising threat enrichment, cesignal transforms overwhelming digital noise into clear, actionable security intelligence for local IT teams

Securing Gold in Tech / Hardware, CEnet’s Infrastructure Services deliver a resilient digital foundation for member dioceses through Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS), Secure Internet Gateways (SIG), Tier-III data centre co-location and Domain Name Services (DNS). Built to aggregate demand and maximise efficiency, the network leverages private peering and caching to cut expensive transit internet traffic by up to 89% while maintaining a safe-by-default internet experience.
Bronze - Performance Tracking & Analytics
Recognised with Bronze in Performance Tracking & Analytics, ceinsights transforms complex school statistics into intuitive, visual dashboards. Linked by the Catholic Education Identifier, it connects attendance, NAPLAN, PAT assessments, grades and wellbeing metrics into a unified student profile on a secure cloud data warehouse. The platform includes 'Let's Celebrate' growth tracking and self-service custom analytics via Datablend, allowing educators to navigate from broad diocesan trends straight down to individual student needs.
