Unlocking AI's potential: Exciting updates to cechat!

CEnet is pleased to announce exciting updates to cechat, our AI-powered tool designed to enhance teaching and learning outcomes in Catholic education. These updates, scheduled for release later this week, are the result of extensive collaboration with educators and feedback from pilot participants.

cechat is experiencing a rapid growth in user engagement, with 340 active users providing us with insights and suggestions, and the creation of 172 AI agents. This tool is being utilised across multiple dioceses in Australia, with a notable increase in interest from non-member institutions, highlighting the platform's growing recognition within the Catholic education community.

Our new cechat updates include:

- a redesigned interface that will provide users with a streamlined and visually appealing experience, improving the platform's overall usability,

- the introduction of a more intuitive prompting system, enabling educators to create and manage AI agents efficiently,

- expanded AI roles aligned with core educational processes that includes the development of AI agents specifically designed to support scaffolding, cognitive load management, and creative ideation.

These enhancements aim to empower educators to leverage the power of AI in addressing diverse teaching and learning needs and support effective pedagogical practices.

With over 180 participants currently undertaking training in our ceAcademy, on data security, privacy and the ethical use of AI, we are set to develop a safer, more powerful AI tool aligned with the educational goals of the Catholic education community.

As the project accelerates, we can't wait to share more exciting updates with you!
