How do I know how many users have accessed my agents?
In your Agent HQ space within cechat Cogniti, you will see each agent you designed. On each agent tile you will see the following icon:
Click on that and you will be able to see both “agent insights” and “agent conversation history”.
Should I consider analytics?
Yes! In fact, use cases suggested that analysis of past conversations could then be used to add to your prompts to meet student needs. For example, students might consistently be asking about the water cycle. Knowing this means you can steer the agent to be more useful to support gaps in knowledge.
How many agents should I create?
Through most of the use cases presented, the advice has been to consider having more targeted agents rather than one big “go to” agent. In this way, you can ensure the agent works more effectively and does not get “confused”.
Why do maths responses not “look right” sometimes?
The team at cechat are working with Cogniti and selected providers to consider a new plug in. But for now, the best advice is to try adding to your prompt “Please format all output as html”. This has had proven success!
What are the best kind of agents to create?
Most case uses show that people love creating Socratic tutors, lesson suggestion agents and agents whereby students can (eventually - after the pilot phase for cechat) interact in an interview/scenario role play setting.
Why should I always create an FAQ agent?
Nearly every use case we've come across suggests that creating an FAQ agent acts as a time saving method. You can use it to reduce questions students or colleagues ask about particular courses. It definitely helps to reduce the administrative traffic in your email inbox!
Can I embed my agent into an LMS?
Yes! We know this can happen effectively with Canvas and we are working on Google Classroom.
How do I make sure Cogniti doesn’t just give the answer straight away?
Prompting is key! Ensure you provide CIF steering details:

Within your steering language, be explicit about not wanting the agent to just give the answers.
Should I upload resources and if so, how many?
Users have found that it is recommended to upload no more than 2-4 megabytes (around 4 average sized documents).
